O paradoxo da conectividade: explorando o impacto da internet pública em parques urbanos como espaços de refúgio

Resumen

Os parques urbanos, tradicionalmente reconhecidos como refúgios de tranquilidade, enfrentam desafios na era digital devido à crescente integração de tecnologias, como a internet pública. Este estudo qualitativo, exploratório e descritivo, analisou a percepção de centennials sobre o impacto da conectividade digital nesses espaços. Com base em entrevistas estruturadas realizadas com 57 respondentes, os resultados evidenciaram um paradoxo: enquanto a conectividade facilita interações sociais e acesso a informações, também interfere na experiência de desconexão e contemplação plena oferecida pelos parques. A inclusão digital foi valorizada, especialmente por frequentadores que dependem da internet para comunicação ou emergências. No entanto, os entrevistados ressaltaram que a presença constante de dispositivos móveis pode reduzir o potencial restaurador dos ambientes naturais. Como alternativas, sugeriram a criação de zonas específicas para o uso de internet, campanhas educativas sobre os benefícios da desconexão e regulamentação do uso de dispositivos digitais para preservar a serenidade. Conclui-se que a gestão de parques urbanos no contexto das cidades inteligentes deve equilibrar inovação tecnológica e bem-estar ambiental. Políticas públicas que promovam conectividade sustentável podem ampliar a inclusão digital sem comprometer a função restauradora desses espaços, garantindo sua relevância para as gerações conectadas.
