Impacto de los atributos emotivos de un destino en la satisfacción de los turistas

Resumen

Esta investigación aborda la evaluación de la satisfacción y la lealtad de los turistas desde la perspectiva de los atributos que un destino turístico posee. Los resultados encontraron que los atributos emotivos son los predictores con mayores efectos en la satisfacción de los turistas, por encima de los atributos funcionales de un destino.


Es un estudio empírico, expost-facto, basado en el análisis de encuestas de salida, aplicadas a los turistas nacionales e internacionales en los aeropuertos de cuatro destinos del Pacífico Mexicano. El modelo diseñado para el estudio tomó como base la Teoría de la Satisfacción de Oliver (1997). Para la evaluación de los impactos sobre la satisfacción y la lealtad, se empleó la herramienta estadística de Modelos de Ecuaciones Estructurales.


Las conclusiones mostraron que el componente experiencial de un destino turístico es el que tiene mayor impacto en la satisfacción y lealtad de los turistas.
